Consulting

A technical read on AI before you commit.

Independent AI consulting for regulated industries.

Someone pitches your team an AI product most weeks. We review the opportunity, the vendor, and the proposal, then tell you what holds up and where the risk is.

What we do

An engineer on your side of the table.

01

Review the opportunity

Send us the pitch deck, the proposal, or the idea. We read it as engineers and tell you what it would take to make it work.

02

Assess feasibility and risk

Can it be built on your data and your systems? We look at what it costs to keep running and what happens when the model is wrong.

03

Check explainability and security

We ask whether the system can show how it reached an answer, where your data goes, and who can see it along the way.

04

Sit in the meeting

We join vendor calls and internal reviews and ask the technical questions, so your team hears the answers first hand.

Every review ends with a recommendation, written or spoken, whichever your team prefers.

How we work together

Three ways to bring us in.

Advisory

On request, as you need it.

A vendor review, a second opinion on a proposal, or a technical voice in a meeting. You ask, we do the work, and you hear back in writing or in conversation.

Best when questions come up now and then.

Project work

A defined solution, delivered.

When you want something designed, built, or delivered, we agree on a statement of work first. It sets the scope, the deliverables, the estimated hours, and the timeline.

Best when you know what you want built.

Retainer

Hours reserved for you every week.

A set number of hours is held for your team each week, so the time is already there when a decision lands on your desk.

Best when AI decisions are a standing part of your work.

Pricing is on request. Tell us what you are looking at and we will send a quote for the arrangement that fits.

Your data

The rules are in writing before we start.

Most consulting work needs no sensitive data at all. When a project does, we agree on what is shared and how it is handled first.

Our recommendations are advisory. Purchasing, clinical, and operational decisions stay with your team.

What you can count on

  • A confidentiality agreement is signed before any work starts
  • A business associate agreement covers any health information
  • De-identified, limited, or synthetic data is used wherever possible
  • Nothing confidential goes into an AI tool without your written approval
  • You can ask for the list of AI tools used on your work at any time
  • You own your data, and the deliverables you paid for

Pricing on request

Tell us what you are weighing.

A sentence or two is enough: the vendor you are evaluating, the project you have in mind, or the question nobody on your team can answer yet. We will reply with next steps and a quote.
